Application experts from AGNITY have developed and deployed many packaged solutions and feature rich applications in communications and multimedia domain. This includes NGIN Solution (ATF, VPN, LNP, Account Codes, etc), Prepaid and Postpaid, Unified Messaging and SPIDYR Phone (web-based voice and video calling applications). However AGNITY recognizes that each service provider customer is unique and wants to differentiate itself from its competition. They do so by offering a comprehensive feature set that best suits its subscriber’s needs, as well as by adding a number of localizations. AGNITY works hand-in-hand with its customers and partners to meet the product customization and enhancement needs.

  • ACONYX CAS has pre-built ready-to-use application components and SBBs that are used to build these custom features in the most optimal way.
  • ACONYX SCE (Service Creation Environment) helps to customize the call flows of various scenarios in existing applications or building new applications on CAS.
  • AGNITY’s experts are able to add in many localization and region-specific feature needs at GUI, TUI and protocol levels.
  • AGNITY’s SIPr toolkit is useful in quick end-to-end testing, full certification and rolling out these new features to the field in a timely manner.
AGNITY’s Approach

AGNITY’s approach to building the product customizations is that of close collaboration with the customer.

While AGNITY has domain experts in several domains such as communications, multimedia, collaboration, social networking, and mobility, the core requirements of the applications are specific to the customer’s unique needs. AGNITY experts work closely with the customer to specify the customer requirements and develop a mutually-agreed SoW (Statement of Work). The SoW provides the details of project scope, feature development timeline, dependencies and risk mitigation plans as required. The SoW also covers post-release LAB testing in the customer environment before releasing the feature to the production environment.

  • AGNITY follows an agile product development plan. The development and testing phase work closely and in iterations ranging from 2 weeks to 8 weeks in duration. During this time, active customer feedback is sought out as and when required.
  • When all the iterations are over and the final software release is delivered, AGNITY development and support professionals are engaged in any interoperability, staging or acceptance testing.
