Sanjeev Chawla, President and CEO

Sanjeev comes with 25 years of experience in Senior Management in Telecommunication, Networking and Mobile Computing Industry. Sanjeev serves on the Board of Directors of IMS Forum and Advisory Board member of multiple startups. Prior to founding AGNITY, Sanjeev was CTO of GENBAND a provider of IMS compliant Media Gateway and Applications, Founder, CTO and EVP Engineering operations of BayPackets a provider of IMS compliant Service Delivery Platforms and Applications. Sanjeev also architected and managed development of S.W.I.F.T - the world?s biggest financial network. Sanjeev holds Masters degree in Computer Science from George Washington University and Bachelors degree from Indian Institute of Technology, India.

Ken Epps, Chief Strategy Officer

Ken is a board member and Chief Strategy Officer of AGNITY Inc. Ken is responsible for AGNITY?s growth strategy, which includes mergers and acquisitions, and new market development. Ken is developing and implementing a strategy to launch AGNITY Inc. into the Health IT leveraging AGNITY?s Communications and Collaboration (UC2) portal and applications. Ken is an accomplished leader in the Communications and Multimedia industry. His experiences include CEO of BayPackets and U4EA Technologies, Chief Marketing Officer of Williams Communications, at the Williams Company (NYSE;WMB) and General Manager at AT&T. Over his career, Ken was responsible for the financing and market launch of two successful startups and the market introduction of a series of next generation and market leading services and applications in the Broadband, Multimedia, Wireless and the Internet arena. Ken has extensive experience in financing companies privately and publicly. Ken serves on several advisory boards and is active in professional and community organizations. His academic accomplishments include a MBA from Stanford, a M.S. from University of Tennessee, and a B.S. from S.C. State University.

Uday Choudhury, VP Product Management

As Vice President of Product Management, Uday Choudhury is responsible for the product strategy and direction setting for AGNITY?s product portfolio. In this role, he is also charged with shaping up products for various AGNITY clients and customers. Uday brings 20 years of industry experience in building large scale telecom software infrastructure in legacy, next-gen and IMS multimedia applications domain. He joined AGNITY from GENBAND, where he was responsible for the product line management of SDP and Applications portfolio, and managed product deployments at tier-1 accounts in Domestic and CALA regions. Prior to that, Uday served as AVP of Product Management for BayPackets, a leading supplier of a carrier-grade communications platform and converged applications for IP, Wireline and Wireless carriers. Uday had a long career with Lucent Technologies. Uday holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from University of Louisiana, Louisiana.

George Georgiou, Senior VP, Global Sales

George has a 25-year track record of leading professional and customer centric organizations. He has served the communications industry his entire career. Prior to joining AGNITY, he was Senior Vice President at Butler International / Mercury Z where he had full P&L responsibility for their Communications Industry Group with over 1,300 employees deployed globally. With his deep knowledge of representing diverse applications, solutions and services to global carriers and manufacturers, via both direct and indirect channels, he brings substantial experience to AGNITY. He is responsible for global sales of all AGNITY products and services across all verticals. Previously, he has held senior sales and sales management positions at Sprint, Harris Corporation and 2Wire.

KC John, Managing Director, India

As Managing Director, John heads the AGNITY India office. He comes with 25 years of cross-functional, strategic management and P&L experience spanning International Finance, Telecommunications and Software Industries. Prior to this, John served as Country General Manager & Chief Operating Officer at GENBAND?s India country operations. He also held strategic management positions at BayPackets, Qualcomm, the World Bank and the Ford Foundation. John has successfully scaled start-up technology companies and carved path-to-profitability. John holds a Ph.D. in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad.

Nasir Khan, Chief Technology Officer

Nasir Khan brings wide-ranging industry experience spanning more than 14 years in telecommunications, networking and engineering to his role, leading product development, professional services and R&D efforts at AGNITY. Before joining AGNITY, Nasir led the development of BEA Weblogic SIP Server as the Architect at BEA Systems. He also led the standardization effort for SIP Servlet 1.1 technology as Specification Lead for JSR 289 while in BEA. Currently he serves as Expert group member of JSR 289. In his role as Specification lead he won several awards, notable amongst them are the Most Outstanding Spec Lead award for 2007 and Star Spec Lead award for 2007. Prior to BEA, Nasir performed Engineering management for SIP Servlets based application server, NSP (an IP SCP) and several next generation applications. Nasir also worked at Indian Oil Corporation developing scientific and financial applications. Nasir holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT-Roorkee and Masters degree in Management and Systems from IIT-Delhi.

Joseph Powers, Chief Financial Officer

Joe Powers has over 15 years experience in senior level financial positions with high-technology/high growth companies where he led financing efforts and designed, implemented and managed financial and operational control systems focused on supporting overall growth and profitability. Prior to joining AGNITY, he served as CFO for Virident , WorkRite Ergonomics, and BayPackets, a telecommunications software company where he led efforts for a successful merger with Genband in August 2006. Prior to BayPackets, Joe was CFO for Pacific Microsonics, a developer of the HDCD® consumer audio technology, where he was instrumental in obtaining venture financing and negotiating the acquisition of the company by Microsoft in August 2000. Joe's previous experience also includes CFO for ViTel International, a leading supplier of international value added telecommunications services which was acquired by Premier Technology in 1996. Joe is a CPA and holds additional professional certifications in Management Accounting (CMA) and Financial Management (CFM) from the Institute of Management Accountants. He received his undergraduate degrees in Finance and Accounting from the University of Colorado.

Atul Varshneya, VP Enterprise Solutions and Product Engineering

Atul Varshneya runs the Enterprise Solutions business unit and Healthcare Product Engineering at AGNITY. Prior to this, Varshneya was the Chief Architect, Multimedia Applications, at GENBAND, Inc., and Assoc. VP/Chief Architect at BayPackets. In these roles he envisioned and architected NGN Service Delivery Platforms and applications for the Tier-1 and Tier-2 carriers as well as enterprises based on industry standards. Prior to this, as a Principal Architect at Motorola he had developed Reference Architecture for Motorola?s PCS products. Varshneya is a member of expert groups in standards bodies and industry forums, and a frequent speaker at various trade shows. He has a Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Subhash Verma, VP Engineering and Technology, India

Subhash has wide industry experience spanning over 23 years in Telecommunication Networks, Data Communications, Value Added Services and Software Technologies. He is heading the Engineering and Technology at AGNITY India and is responsible for product development, testing, professional services and R&D. He joined AGNITY from GENBAND where he was VP of Engineering & Technology and was heading R&D at GENBAND?s International Development Center (IDC) at Noida, India, driving Product Development, Testing and new products innovation. Before GENBAND, Subhash was working as AVP of Technology at BayPackets Inc, USA, where he played a critical leadership role in setting the strategic technology direction for the company. Prior to joining BayPackets, he worked as Director in Department of Telecommunications, the largest telecom carrier in India, for 13 years. He had been a speaker at various international conferences. Subhash received both a Bachelor of Engineering and Masters in Computer Science and Technology from IIT, Roorkee, India.
