AGNITY To Supply Next-Generation Applications on Sonus Networks IMX® Multimedia Application Platform
New Agreement Provides Sonus Customers With Easy Access To Broad Portfolio of IMS and Web 2.0 Quality Applications
SILICON VALLEY – July 27, 2009 – AGNITY, a leading technology solutions and consulting services company for communications and enterprise applications, announced today that it has signed an agreement for Sonus Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: SONS) to offer the ACONYX suite of applications for new and existing Sonus networks infrastructure implementations. Sonus will also work with AGNITY to deliver custom applications on the Sonus IMX® Multimedia Application Platform.
Under this agreement, Sonus will initially offer AGNITY’s ACONYX Pre-paid and Post-paid products and leverage its integration expertise in order to seamlessly deploy IP converged applications on Sonus’ IMX platform. Future AGNITY applications are targeted for availability under this agreement in the near future. With access to the broad suite of AGNITY solutions on the IMX platform, Sonus Networks customers will benefit from the industry leading applications coupled with a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) framework that enables the rapid creation and deployment of IMS and Web 2.0 voice, data and multimedia applications.

The AGNITY ACONYX applications suite consists of Prepaid and Postpaid calling, Mobile and Multimedia applications including Spidyr™ web-phone, CallComplete™ (real-time call management), MyZoom™ (mobile social networking), and Multimedia RBT (ring back tones). AGNITY ACONYX Next-Gen IN suite of applications includes: Advanced Toll Free, Account Codes, Voice VPN, Network-based ACD and Local Number Portability.
