AGNITY Expands Leadership Team with Focus on Healthcare Services Applications
Former CEO of BayPackets and U4EA Ken Epps to lead AGNITY into Healthcare IT
SILICON VALLEY – Sept 17, 2009 – AGNITY, Inc., a leading provider of applications, solutions and services to mobile and fixed line service providers and enterprises, announced today that the company has appointed industry veteran Ken Epps as Chief Strategy Officer and named him to AGNITY Board of Directors. Epps’ primary role will be to develop and implement a strategy to extend AGNITY into Healthcare IT, leveraging AGNITY’s success and expertise as a communications and collaboration software applications developer and provider.
AGNITY’s HealthCare Services applications will facilitate communications and collaboration between clinicians, hospitals, patients and insurers that will result in high quality, low cost care, with high patient satisfaction.
As the former CEO of BayPackets and U4EA, Epps is an accomplished executive, building and managing companies that have delivered communications software applications, devices and services to enterprise and consumer customers on a global scale. He specializes in taking small, medium and large companies into new markets. As CEO, he took two venture-backed software and device companies, BayPackets and U4EA Technologies, from concept to revenue generation within a short period of taking charge. Epps currently serves on several advisory boards and is active in professional and community organizations resulting in numerous awards and recognition, including Frost & Sullivan’s CEO of the Year Award.
