AGNITY’s ACONYX Prepaid application is a flexible Voice and Data prepaid solution that offers a comprehensive feature set to allow service providers the ability to quickly deploy a complete prepaid solution, across heterogeneous networks, that includes real-time national/international call rating, wholesale/reseller support, branded/custom announcements, multi-language/multi-currency support, and web-based provisioning and end-user control. Rate Plans and Real-Time Rating Features
The ACONYX Prepaid system models the rating functionality to suit the business models of Service Providers and Agents, and captures a specific rating strategy into a ‘rate plan’. The system offers a host of features and components that make the ACONYX Prepaid real-time rating efficient.
Multiple Language Support
Multiple-language support enables a Service Provider/Agent to publish different access numbers for different languages. It is possible to associate multiple languages to one access number. In this scenario, the user is prompted to make a language choice. Then, subsequent announcement are made using the selected language.
Each access number can have a set of languages that it can support, one of which is the default language. All the announcements are played in the default language unless the end-user selects a different language from the TUI language menu, if set by the Service Provider/Agent. ACONYX Prepaid also allows association of a preferred language with any subscriber’s registered CLI, which is used by the system for authentication.
Customizable Announcements/Menus
The ACONYX Prepaid system provides configurable announcements that a Service Provider/Agent can configure for an offer or per access number. Administrator could record the announcements and upload to the system via web interface. These announcements could be used in customizing menus.
Customizable Web Portal
ACONYX Prepaid provides a Web-based user-friendly WebPortal to Service Providers and Agents. Service Providers and Agents can make this WebPortal available to end-user. End-users can register with the WebPortal to purchase and recharge card by selecting a product/plan. After registering and purchasing a card, an end-user can access services depending on the product, like speed dial and CLI registration for CLI-based authentication.
Comprehensive Reporting
ACONYX prepaid provides a comprehensive reporting solution through a separate reports server. Reports could be generated at various levels and also include profitability reports. That way service providers/agents can quickly find out how much profit they are making. Reports could be canned or parameterized and also can be generated on demand or scheduled.
Credit Limit
ACONYX prepaid supports the credit limit feature where a higher level entity could allow certain amount of total calls to be made. Credit limit could be set through web portal and provides a great way to implement wholesale-retail business model. When the credit amount becomes less than the credit limit, the ACONYX Prepaid service becomes disabled for that service provider till the account is charged again.
Role Management and Customer Support
Besides restricting access to authorized users from designated terminals, ACONYX Prepaid also provides role management functions for the Web-based provisioning system. Role management involves assigning access privileges to various administrator profiles. Some of the profiles supported are Read/Write all screens, Read only all screens, Customer Service Manager, Customer Service Supervisor, Network Provider Reports, Service Provider Reports.
Payment Gateway Support
It is possible for end-users to purchase or recharge a card by credit cards via a robust and reliable payment gateway. The service tax viz. percentage tax and flat tax are added to the purchase/recharge amount which is defined at the product level. This total amount is debited from the credit card.
